What is VAT?

The Value Added Tax (VAT) is a consumption tax levied on goods and services in many countries, including France. It is calculated on the value added at each stage of production and distribution. Simply put, it is the tax applied on the final price of a product or service.

Does VAT apply to buyers on Privize?

Yes. VAT is automatically applied when purchasing a media on Privize.

The applicable rate depends on the place of residence of the buyer:

• If you reside in the European Union, the VAT of your country will be applied.

• If you reside outside the EU, no VAT amount is charged (except for specific local provisions).
